Teaching Styles
Vinyasa FlowBUILD STAMINA + STRETCH
These high-intensity classes deliver a powerful, cathartic and purifying experience. Expect intermediate to advanced postures and transitions, interspersed by moments of introspection. Due to the pace of the class, it is recommended that you have at least 2.5 years of consistent mat practice. |
Restorative + PranayamaREDUCE STRESS + STRETCH
These open level classes emphasize static and deeply restorative postures . Perfect to unwind and relax while creating balance and alignment in both the physical and subtle body, these classes are ideal for both beginners and advanced students. |
Alignment & Alignment FlowBUILD RESILIENCE + STRETCH
This style is inspired by the Iyengar yoga principles of anatomical precision and alignment as well as by the latest findings in the field of human movement. While this practice can be physically demanding, it is slow-paced and as such it's great for beginners/intermediate students. Alignment Flow is a progression of Alignment that combines alignment with traditional vinyasas. |
In order to participate in all the above classes effectively, you will need some yoga props such as two yoga blocks, some blankets and one yoga strap as well as wall space and floor space.

Donation Based Classes - How it works:
1. Fill out the form below. Feel free to sign up for one or more days.
2. I’ll email you a zoom meeting link, which you’ll need to access class. Download zoom to your computer or phone beforehand!
3. Be ready for class and on the mat 3-5 mins before class to connect and work out any technical difficulties. Mute your audio during class, video on is optional.
4. Practice!
5. Make a donation. While there are 100's of free yoga classes being offered in this changing economic and social landscape, I think it is truly important for all artists, teachers, businesses and the like to ask for and receive compensation. Please know that if you cannot afford to donate much at this time, I understand. If you can afford $2, give $2 and if you can afford more then please do. If things are really tight, no worries, join me anyway. I still encourage you to take as many classes as you like, as these are challenging times, and yoga helps.
*Should you make a donation, I would greatly appreciate if you did so by the following day.

Alessia's classes are always different and exciting but still balanced with traditional asana. She provides an opportunity to expand our practice by just allowing us to try advanced poses with encouragement We have a few laughs but work hard and that's what makes it fun."
